This service allows us to send you either a SMS text message or voice message to your mobile or land line phone (as long as your phone accepts these services). Once we receive your prescription from the surgery we will notify you. This means there will be no need to call us to see if your prescription is in and no more wasted if your prescription has not sent from the surgery.
How does it work?
- There is a simple application to fill in (PDF at the bottom of the page), so we can make sure all your details are correct on our labelling system and we have the preferred phone number.
- Sign the consent form from Message Dynamics who provide the service on behalf of Clare Pharmacy, (this will be provided once the application is returned to the pharmacy).
- You can choose to have either a text message sent to your mobile phone
or
- You can have a voice message to your mobile phone or land line (it can even leave a message on your answer phone if you wish).
- Once we have labelled the prescription our labelling system will send a message informing you that we have your prescription and that it will soon be ready for collection.
- To make this system work effectively it is best to pick the prescription up the following day to make sure we have time to order any items on your prescription that we may not have. Although we keep a large and wide ranging stock of medication, it is not possible to keep everything in stock!
